Aurogra Side Effects

Aurogra® with sildenafil helps with erectile dysfunction, but it can also cause side effects. Common side effects include headache, flushing, indigestion and nasal congestion. Some people may also experience dizziness or vision changes, such as seeing things with a blue tinge. These side effects are usually mild and often resolve on their own. However, it is important to pay attention to how your body reacts after taking Aurogra®.

Aurogra® precautions

Before using Aurogra®, it is important to talk to a healthcare professional, especially if you have certain health problems or are taking other medications. Sildenafil can lower blood pressure, so it is important to be careful if you are already taking blood pressure medication. Also, if you have any heart disease or a history of stroke, Aurogra® may not be safe for you.

Does Viagra have an expiry date? Yes, like all medicines, Aurogra® has an expiry date, and it may be less effective or unsafe to use after this date. Always check the packaging for this information and store the medicine as advised to ensure it remains effective.

Aurogra® contraindications

There are certain conditions and medications that make the use of Aurogra® unsafe. For example, taking sildenafil with nitrates, which are often prescribed for chest pain, can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. People with severe heart or liver problems, a recent stroke or heart attack, or low blood pressure should avoid Aurogra®. Additionally, if you are allergic to sildenafil or any of the other ingredients in Aurogra®, you should not take it. We have organized the most common side effects by body system in the table below:

SystemContraindications
Cardiovascular SystemUse of nitrates: medicines for chest pain or angina, such as nitroglycerin, as taking these with sildenafil can cause a sharp drop in blood pressure. Recent heart attack or stroke: particularly within the last 6 months, because of the risk of increased pressure on the heart. Severe cardiac problems: such as unstable angina or severe heart failure, where sexual activity is not recommended. Severe low blood pressure (hypotension): blood pressure well below the normal range can be further lowered by sildenafil.
Hepatic and Renal SystemsSevere liver impairment: Decreased liver function may affect the metabolism of sildenafil, increasing the risk. Severe kidney (renal) disease: Drug clearance may be altered, particularly in those requiring dialysis.
Neurological SystemHereditary degenerative retinal disorders: Including retinitis pigmentosa, because sildenafil can affect the enzyme PDE6 present in the retina. History of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION): A condition that causes loss of vision due to damage to the optic nerve, possibly increasing the risk of sildenafil use.
Allergic ReactionsAllergy to sildenafil or any of the ingredients in its formulation, including inactive ingredients that can cause allergic reactions or other problems.
MiscellaneousPeyronie’s disease or other conditions that promote priapism: such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia, due to the risk of prolonged erectile dysfunction. Concomitant use with other ED treatments: The safety and efficacy of sildenafil when used in combination with other erectile dysfunction treatments have not been established.

Most common side effects of sildenafil

The most common side effects of sildenafil include headache, facial flushing, and indigestion. Some individuals may experience a stuffy nose, dizziness, or vision changes. These side effects are similar across sildenafil products, including Aurogra®. While most side effects are mild and temporary, serious reactions, such as an erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism), sudden vision loss, or hearing loss, require immediate medical attention.
